Turfgrass Surface Insecticide
What does Surface Insecticide Control?
Turfgrass Surface Insecticide controls Chinchbugs, Sod Webworm, and other surface feeding insects. When you mow your lawn and see a lot of white moths flying out of the grass you probably have a Sod Webworm infestation. The moths lay their eggs in the soil of the grass. When the eggs hatch they feed on the grass blades, which is what causes the damage to your lawn. A surface insecticide will control this pest.
Chinchbugs can cause serious damage to your lawn, especially in the hot, dry summer months. Chinch bug damage usually occurs on the edges of the grass near sidewalks, driveways, and streets. When your lawn is stressed out in the hot summer months Chinchbug damage is a lot more noticable. Chinchugs are hard to see with the naked eye because they are only 1/16 inch in size. A surface insecticide will control Chinchbug damage.
